I have been asked for more information on the Athens Olympics Opening Ceremony again and again by many readers of this weblog.
I have to tell you that I have been sworn to secrecy in exactly what is going to happen on the 13th of August during the opening ceremonies.
I can reveal to you one thing: The opening ceremony will be 'aquatic'. The olympic stadium will be full of water...
I just contacted some people from the Athens 2004 commitee and I have 'inside' information about the general look of the ceremony! Howver, I was sworn to secrecy so I cannot publish anything here (but if you want more just send me an email). The Athens Olympics opening ceremony promises to be absolutely spectacular. It will also involve a very unique way for the appearence of the Olympic flame in the stadium.
I was also told that there are still some tickets left for the Opening Ceremony so there is still chance to see it if you want!
The Olympic flame is about to start its travel around the world. The flame has left its place in teh Panathenaiko stadium and within the next half an hour will be at the Athens Eleftherios Venizelos airport.
The flame will leave Greece for Sydney which will be its first stop.
