The good news is that the two massive arcs of the Olympic stadium have started sliding towards the stadium today. The plan is to have both arcs into place be the end of the week. (They will have to move about 70 metres each with a speed of 5 metres per hour).
Once the arcs are in place the steel plates placement will commence, along with the 'beautification' of the surrounding area.
